Before your Float visit

The Bathhouse Albion

Arrival and Preparation

After checking in, staff will guide you through the process. They’ll explain how the session works and answer any questions you might have.

Changing and Showering

Before entering the float room, you’ll take a shower to cleanse your skin of oils and products. This ensures a clean environment for your float. Tie up long hair.

Entering the bath

The float bath will be filled with warm water mixed with over 400kg of Epsom salts, making it incredibly buoyant. The water is kept at skin temperature, so you won’t feel hot or cold.

Floating

Once you’re in the water, you’ll lie back and float effortlessly. The buoyancy takes the weight off your joints and muscles, allowing your body to fully relax. The environment is quiet, dark, and free from distractions, helping your mind to unwind.

Time to Relax

During your float, you might lose track of time as you enter a meditative state. Some people experience deep mental relaxation, while others may even fall asleep. The session lasts 60 minutes.

Ending the Session

The filter will start signalling the end of your float. You’ll slowly come back to full awareness and step out of the bath.

Post-Float

After your session, you’ll shower again to rinse off the salt. Many people feel calm, refreshed, and mentally clear after floating.
